Heart To Heart
Sometimes in this lifetime,
we meet a special soul,
who fills our very essence,
to almost overflow,
we drink the cup of friendship,
it tastes like ruby wine,
and you know within your heart,
this meeting was Divine.
This soul that lives within your heart,
no distance can prevail,
an inner spark, within the heart,
becomes a Holy Grail,
the starting of a journey,
in which you both shall be,
a reflection of each other,
for all eternity.

Today as the sun goes down and the night befalls us I am honoring my husband with a poem. A poem because sometimes our words are just not strong enough, sometimes our voice is louder when spoken through rhythmic tones, and sometimes less can be a whole lot more.

weeks go by,
some couple don't even say hi
we look at each other sometimes wonder wow times fly by
A little smile within
A spark or two will do that show loves flow through.
